Just a quick post to let every one know how we are doing.
The first match played was four weeks ago and was a very close affair which we edged 4-3, have`nt got a score card so car`nt tell you much more.
This wednsday we played Manchester "C" Ronnie Franklin kicked off proceedings against Phil Hulme a close game won by Ronnie with only one dodgy moment with a black dead over the hole i`ll let Ronnie do the explaining, next up was Tommy Tulley solid performance and after several excellent snookers at the end of the game i think Graham had had enough you tend to lose heart if your snookered every time you go to the table, next up was Nick Rhodes- Heaton the only way you could describe his game was keep on hanging on in their, one very poor reffing decision and a bad miss on the black by his opponent give him an opportunity at the end to win a game he never looked like winning, Kevin Roles played next and some lucky play buy Scott " flukes", combined with good potting early doors gave him a healthy lead which Kevin did well to pull back but in the end Scott proved to strong, last on was Mr Jeffereys V Kevin Oswell another close game which went right down to the blue, pink and black for game and aggregate Daves nerve was the stronger and after potting the blue and pink for his game fluked the black to win the aggregate for us, all though he might differ from my oppinion on the black.
Any way 6-1 win for Prestwich and a very good chance of us reaching the next round. B)
Absolutely disagree about that black,Nick;you know the rules"never leave a mug a double"Great report in every other way. :D
