Well i paid my annual visit to watch a match at the world championships, this year Paul and Colin Rawlinson and Joe Hague came as well , just as a foot note if you decide to go down with Paul and he is doing the driving be prepared to
a. be late getting their (missed the first frame) :huh:
b. get lost in Sheffield :(
c. frightened to death with his driving. :o
On paper Robertson (Reedie lookie likeie) and Dott the wee Scott did`nt look an exciting match, but turned out to be totally different Robertson at one point four frames behind with five left to play levelled the match at 12 all, only to lose the final frame shoot out on a poor shot on the yellow, why he did`nt make Dott play again is anybodys guess thats pressure i suppose. After watching the match we all wandered across to the cue zone which is a big marquee erected right next door where players do interviews and a full size table is in their to demonstrate shots for tele viewers and all the major trophies are displayed, any way i could`nt resist it for a fiver you could have a professional photo taken holding the World Championship Trophy( the actual one not a copy )sat in a chair in front of a snooker table worth it in my book.
All i would like to say is it was a very enjoyable day with good company and i will deffiniitely be doing it again next year. B)
