Kev's 41 break meant that Jamie's value for money rating wasn't good.

You didn't miss much; even your flukes were spot on last night Rob.

i had a bit of running, but i potted well and enjoyed the banter!!!

played well against kevin but he is quality and it showed in the end with a lovely pink.

what was the final like?

"Av it" - December 22, 2006 02:27 PM (GMT)
Well as I said I would be there to see all you "Av it" fans, sorry I couldnt pick my £5 up Mr Heaton but felt I would not give my identity away just yet. Lots of talk about who Av it is which is very amusing considering I could have been part of the banter. As for the night, very good night at the Stute, organisational skills could do with a brush up Stute boys, a case of too many cooks I think. Good to see so many there although it could have been a match night with the Libs being away. Pity Meldrew and Magnum didnt get drawn against each other now that would have been funny to watch especially as there werent any refs. Nice of Middle Bag Man to make an appearance, took a long time to talk the misses round after she found his fixture book and saw he didnt have a match so gave him orders to stay in. Also nice to see Mr Flavell managed to get a pass out too. I believe the census of oppinion is that the night should be held at the Libs in future as there arent any nice looking blondes behind the bar in the Stute. Did someone put 50p in the meter in the Stute because it was unusually warm in there or was that the hot air coming from Meldrews moaning mouth AGAIN. What happened to Slim (Ronnie) I think the thought of playing Nick was too much so he did a runner

And finally to the final
Wild card entry John Harrison got there with some solid snooker against Kevin Roles who also played well throughout but rode his luck a couple of times, John had a massive lead in the final frame of about 50 so a good game to win for Kevin if he could pull it off. and he nearly did having the first shot at the last pink to leave a black ball game but missed to leave John a chance to finally put it away to take the booze.

All in all a good night had by all I look forward to the next one

Merry Xmas "AV IT"
