Does it really look like anything but a Hendry v Ronnie final?

MarkP - October 15, 2005 03:20 PM (GMT)
Hendry v Higgins promises to be a cracking match this evening.
O'Sullivan started well this afternoon, but Hawkins has done well to close the gap from 3-1 down to 5-4 behind. With Ronnie needing one of the last two, it's looking ominous for Hawkins.

Well done to John Higgins for finally showing the form that got him to World Number One all those years ago. It will still take an immense effort to beat Ronnie, as John himself confirmed. Pity I'm working this afternoon, fingers crossed there are quite a few frames left this evening.

MarkP - October 16, 2005 10:03 PM (GMT)
Well, that immense effort happened.

Well done John, nice to see you back at your best.
