joehague - November 13, 2007 10:25 PM (GMT)
Result from re-arranged Butterworth match between Joe Hague & Gary Duncan

Joe bt Gary 2-0

1st game, unfortunately all one way traffic, only missed a couple and when i did, left Gaz nothing

2nd frame, first 30 points pretty much shared, Gaz got i think a 20 odd break. Gaz potted the last blue to go 17 ahead with only 13 on, he unfortunately snookered himself and missed the pink, the next 10 mins were played on the last 2 colours which i took thankfully after some edgy shots from both sides on the black.

Yes Nick! Worst season in 23 years. Putting it down to other things so not too bothered.
Any way should be right for scratch billiards and a couple of high breaks could bring season back on track!! You never know ;)
Probably meet you now in first round after saying that.

Message for Dave D

I was allegedly due to play C Weekes tomm night (Tuesday)

I gave him my mobile number to call me and up to now, not received a call, hence not posting the correct re-arranged match date up on here.

I have left messages at Crumpsall for him to call me, could you intervene if possible to sort

Thanks

Joe

Cheers Gaz,

I play ok in one off games, its my league consistency which is crap.

Luckily Tom missed a couple (and left nothing on), but then missed a couple more and did leave me on. Nice to say i barely missed much.

Would be good to know who won the other one, in saying that am just happy to have got this far

joehague - April 1, 2008 08:51 PM (GMT)
Evening

Result of tonights butterworth Final
Kevin Roles bt Joe Hague 3-0

Frame 1 - Black ball game ( i was 20 odd up, let it slip), slight cheeky fluke from Kev sealed the game.
Frame 2 - 42 break from Kevin, left me needing 2 or 3 snookers on the last 4 balls, I got the snookers, after 7 or 8 mins of fantastic safety, i left the blue on
Frame 3 - I went in front, Kev came back with i think a 50 break, left me last 2 reds plus the colours, it was too bigger task in the end

Fair result, i played very well, just not well enough, nice to be a finalist though.

Well done Kev, well deserved

Joe
