RESULTS FROM THE CARLTON
6-2 WIN FOR THE CARLTON, WHICH IN THE GRAND SCHEME OF THINGS ISNT A BAD RESULT. I STRUGGLED OFF HANDICAP GIVING 37 START, ONLY LOSING BY 15, IN A GAME WHICH SAW 145 POINTS SCORED, SO I DIDNT PLAY BADLY.... BUT NEVER MIND...
J Hague (-21) 65 P Richards (+16) 80
P Ryan (-14) 79 C Holt (+10) 52
P Rawlinson (-6) 52 S Byrne (+10) 49
C Arthington (scr) 21 M Richards (+20) 64
J Bailey (-10) 59 M Prosser (-1) 53
C Rawlinson (+14) 72 B Mayors (+20) 25
Not a bad result, good set of lads, and our sandwiches are back on, apologies to the clubs we have already played and didnt feed !!

Well done for putting the handicaps in brackets as I did, it gives a good idea of how much players have to fight to win their games

or not in my case.... my opponent scored well. Its difficult anyone giving over a 30 start in snooker. Doesnt matter how (allegedly bad) a player is, they have only got to score say 20 and your in a 50 deficit. My 65 points in most games would of won me the game, just shows that there are some inaccuracies in the handicaps. If i had of played crap it would of been an embarrasing scoreline, only benefit is you get a beer bought you..
Looking on the notice board, there are some tasty pairs games this season, am sure tully and frankland are playing roles and heywood( May be wrong), be a good game to watch tho.

left the stute thinking we got a decent 4-4 draw with a last minute side as 4 of our players was missing due to holiday and baby commitments.
have to admit tables were fantastic and thought i would give my younger brother a taste of some (decent) snooker !!!! hahah
well played kidda thanks for turning up.
lost 4 close games but had 2 handsome wins coming from G-Man who beat Chris Heywood by 50+ points and yours truly MBM beating a very average Kev Roles in his own backyard 63-13 woohoo.
must admit i potted of the lampshade and kev never got going but hey not many will play him at the stute and him scoring under 15 points.....
nice buttys but not as nice waiting for big ron to notch up his first snooker victory !!
cya soon MBM
P.S you will see me outside marks and spencers next thursday recruiting players all people welcome...
