What do you think of the round robin format?

Any comps you think we could try out in the Prestwich League with such a format - say an individual snooker handicap open to all?

I suppose you could do this but the handicapping needs to be reviewed for it first, for example the handicapping given is the same whether you play 1st or 2nd team billiards or snooker, and the games would have to be arranged between players but you could have a semi final and final night for it.

In Coventry League they have a finals week where all the finals are played in the week after the season is finished and it is held in one club with some tired seating, I know we are not as supported but it wouldnt hurt us all to start supporting the Prestwich League more to try and raise its profile and build it back up to what it was in years gone by

if this happened the cost to enter could increase as people would be getting more games for there money, leading to more prize money for the eventual winner/runner up. Think this would also generate alot more interest and entrants
