Libs got beat 6-2 according to Big Ronnie, don't know the details.

Back "home" last night for me and I drew the in-form Kevin Roles, Shaun Byrne played John Reid and Craig Holt was up against Chris Heywood in the first half. Reidy showed he's still got it, giving 58 starting and winning by 52, Chris Heywood beating Craig by 25. Kev didn't really get going at the start against me and I edged steadily clear with a couple of breaks in the high teens. 40 points adrift, Kev got his potting arm back and made it a tight finish, even missing game shot to allow me to sneak home 100-98. Nice to see Kev has more shots in his locker this season and it's bound to make him a dangerous opponent.

Second half saw Dave Darlington and Barry Mayer cross swords well before the other two tables had finished. Some great potting from Barry saw him reverse John's score and leave the game well balanced at two wins each with about 23 in the agg. Up stepped the Richards clan, Paul taking on Dave Jefferys, Mark taking on Nick Heaton. Nick played a solid game and deserved his win, while Paul and Dave played very similar games, with the handicaps working out well as both players needed a handful of points at the end, Paul falling over the line first.

5-3 to the Stute, well done HPSC on giving a good account of yourselves.

Mr West, the only appraisal i could possibly make is that of The flukemaster kept the flag flying high. You didnt even have to hit them hard to fluke them on this occasion....

Say no more.
