Church Institute v Unsworth SC

I went to the Stute last night to see how the big boys do it

Stute won 5-3 against Unsworth

Some good play John Reid unlucky after clawing back a 31 start to lose

Kevin solid as ever - gave 41 start

Chris lost a close game - gave 20 odd start

Nick had his arse speanked - gave 35 start

Abert played very well and won by 20 odd (note 2nd team player)

Finally Dave Jefferies who won on the pink, but yet again some poor sportsmanship that has the room deep in conversation when he isnt there about the way he conducts himself during games, its about time he got to grips with his attitude and played fairly, i doubt there are many on that would disagree with me.

Time to grow up Mr Jefferies

Quote of the night from Ant.

Westy, whilst not doing so well in his match, is busy back and forward between shots to the butties.

Ant says " I think your clearing the wrong table"

Give Chris his due he fought back well to draw the game only to miss an easy black on the respot and lose the frame.

All close games with the handicaps. Even Jim Fallon giving a start at snooker.

The only problem is that I will say it Rob, it annoys me when people say behind his back instead of his face and really let him know what an arse he is, I have told him to his face and stand by it.

And while we are on the subject I dont mind people telling me if they think I am an arse, especially to my face

Steve, let me know what it is of your's I've got.then I'll give it back and you can grow up and move on to the next case.

Still haven't lost your knowledge of the angles though, Chris, unless you actually meant that pot off just the four cushions?

Snooker result;
Church 3 Crumpsall Cons 5

C.Heywood(-38) 63 v B.Moxon (-5) 100
D.Jeffreys(-48) 81 v D.Consterdine (+5) 100
J.Reid(-48) 100 v D.Lonsdale (+15) 70
N.Heaton(-48) 63 v C.Weekes (+20) 100
K.Roles(-48) 100 v S.O'Neill (+20) 85
D.Darlington(19) 100 v C.Moss (+10) 76

Aggregate 507 v 531

There were a few comments made with regard to the lead Crumpsall got due to the handicaps. With respect to my fellow players, we're not that good.Maybe the minus 48 handicap players are'nt good enough for a handicap like that and should play off a more realistic handicap.I saw a lot of fantastic potting tonight but not all the minus 48 handicappers played many good billiard shots.
Also ,tonight I had a good chat and laugh with Dave Jeffreys.
