A great win for HPSC, yet another upset caused.

David was off form compared to his billiards match last week and when I finally got going I picked him off with a bit of help from lady luck.

I refereed Baz and Gary and Gary potted well, thoroughly deserving his win.

Mark played a steady game and needed to with Andy looking dangerous at times.

Craig again played steadily and held off a decent challenge from Alan

I was on at the same time as Shaun and Dave, but both players looked to be playing well, with Mr Yaffe making some good pots.

Paul got 22 start from Dave Wright and made it count, picking him off wherever possible.

Havent got the card to say who beat who... I played for our 2nd team tonight (lost 2 on the bounce in the big boys team) and the 2nd team won 7-1 (nice little 33 from moi)

Well what can I say. A 7-1 drubbing of Prestich C having beaten them 8-0 the week before at Billiards.

If only we had started the season like that! Only loser was Mark Matilka. Lost count of the number of cues he has used this season - hopefully he'll have settled on one for the next match!! :D

I must come to Mark's defence a little bit. There's not many captains posting results any more.
In fact the site has gone very quiet over all.
When you get someone going on about what they read in the sunday papers then you know its got a problem. :(
No cup fixtures. No league tables. No jokes from "old dog" (Blessing!).
Even Joe has gone quiet on match night ( might hear from him next round of butterworth) ;)
I think even Nick's missus has managed to view his search history before he could delete it. Pc's probably in bits now. :P

A return to Club Tropicana for me tonight.
Certainly lived up to its billing with everyone but the players keeping their coats on.

Stute went 2-1 up and 16 chalks up at the break, with Gan scraping home, Baz running Albert close and myself beating an out of sorts Nick.

Second half saw a romp from Swee, a good solid performance from Paul and Craig play well but get undone by a fantastic 64 break from Kevin.
