Congrats to the Libs 1st Team on reaching the final. Still something to play for this season!
A closely contested semi-final saw the Stute 2nd put up a good fight and take the match down to the last few colours of the final frame.
I believe the other semi was won by Whitefield Cons 1st (defeating Crumpsall Cons).

Well, what can I say. We are propping up the 1st division but came out all guns blazin - makes you wonder why we couldn't do it in the league!
Put Mr West as top stick and Chris lived up to expectations by gettin thumped by Rob. That put the pressure on right from the start, but Don gave as good as he got and won by almost the same score Chris got beat by.
Next it was the turn of yours truly clearing up with a 22 on the colours against Steve (Capt) to put Whitefield back in driving seat.
Never Say Die was up next with another impeccable performance over Mr Tully.
Mark Matulka followed beating Big Ron with a superb potting display - think he was trying to rip the back off some of the pockets he was hitting the ball so hard.
Bringing up the rear was Ant Thorpe with a great win over Graham who despite some great potting himself never had the running.
All in all, a Great win for us. Lets hope we do better in League next season - we should do when Mr Darlington ups our handicaps!!! :D
